It’s been two months to the day since I last blogged. I initially wanted to take a break from all internet activity. Then I went on vacation, and found myself without an internet connection. Then I found myself just not thinking about it. Then next thing I know, it’s been two months. Ever noticed how the things we do daily are the things that happened gradually over time?

The Jewish New Year was centered around redemption. God told Moses as they exited Egypt, "This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year" (Exodus 12:2). This allowed for Israel to not only forget the calendar which commemorated their bondage, but to start the new day as a nation freshly born with dates of destiny ahead.

May the incorporation of redemptive principles bring us out of whatever has held us back in '08 and launch us in to our greatest days in '09.
